AESDirect VPN EDI for an AESDirect Filer

1. The AESDirect Administrator should access the VPN EDI set-up function: See Below

   This function will require the AESDirect Account Administrator to input their:

   • AESDirect Admin Code
   • AESDirect Username
   • AESDirect password
   
   
2. Once validated the Administrator downloads, installs, and registers the AESDirect VPN Communications Software on their server. This will again require that they enter their AESDirect log-in information plus a description of the EDI server being installed.

3. At this stage EDI VPN will be activated for the specified server.

Register an EDI VPN Server for your AESDirect Account

Notes:

Only an AESDirect Account Administrator may register an EDI VPN Server connection for their account.

The AESDirect Account must be already authorized for EDI upload.

Each AESDirect Account is able to register and install many copies of the AESDirect VPN Communications Software for VPN EDI.

De-activating an EDI VPN server will require a written request to AESDirect.

The AESDirect VPN Communications Software is designed to run on Windows2000, Windows XP, Windows NT Version 4.0. An Internet communications link is required. A static (not dial-up) connection is also strongly recommended.

All responses submitted from an VPN EDI server will be delivered back to the submitting server.
