AESWebLink API
[Developers Center Home]
WebLink API Updates:
- 09/04/2002 - Added ODTC Data Elements. These data elements are currently ignored by AESDirect in both certification and production filing. When we have completed our internal testing with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection AES system, these changes will be made available for testing in certification. These data elements will be ignored in prodution filing until the changes are moved into production in AES; this is expected to happen in early 2003. Please contact us if you have any questions.
- 07/29/2002 - Added note clarifiying submission of DEC internal numbers as the USPPI ID and minor cosmetic changes to the API page.
- 10/23/2001 - D (D-U-N-S) is not an acceptable ID Type for the USPPI Profile.
- 07/13/2001 - Waiver of Prior Notice (Field: WPN) has been removed. WPN will be ignored if it is sent.
- 07/01/2001 - Departure date can now be entered as YYMMDD or MM/DD/YY
- 06/14/2001 - Length of Shipment Reference Number has been corrected to 17 Characters (Alpha-Numeric)
- 05/24/2001 - Entry Numner (Field: IBN) has been added. This field was formerly called the "In-bond Number" and was removed when the in-bond fields were removed. It is now called "Entry Number" and has been returned to the API.
- 04/27/2001 - Until the introduction of the new in-bond module in AES all in-bond related information (Fields: MIB, IBN, IBT) has been removed from AESDirect. If you continue to send these fields, they will be ignored by AESWebLink.
- 04/27/2001 - ID Number and ID Type have been removed from the Ultimate Consignee (Fields: AD1_2, AD1_4) and Intermediate Consignee (Fields: AD4_2, AD4_4) profiles. If you continue to send these fields, they will be ignored by AESWebLink.
- 03/16/2001 - E-MAIL variable added
- 11/21/2000 - Routed Transaction Flag (RT) added added to General Information section. [Information and Implementation Schedule]
